Houchi Chemical was established by Niven Liu in at Kaohsiung Taiwan in 1959 and since has been servicing in the pain, ink, and plastics industry. In 1970, Luke Liu, our present CEO, was given the charge of the company which was then moved to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. Product lines continued to expand mainly by the former ICI's line. In 1997, Houchi started its first subsidary company, Asiafine, in Shanghai as the HQ for the China market. R&D then began for Houchi's own products on pigments, additives, and nano-dispersions. With a series of investments, Houchi is now producing organic pigments and aluminum paste by toll manufacturing in China. In 2007 Houchi launched two other subsidiary companies, DOXA and P&F, in Taiwan as the additive and advanced material units. DOXA and P&F's products are now manufactured in Houchi's solely owned factory in Tao Lio, Taiwan.
