Established in 1992, Marigot Ltd is a pioneer in the development of functional marine ingredients. Our innovative Aquamin product range is derived from one unique raw material, the red algae Lithothamnion species. With a distinct composition, which includes calcium, magnesium and 74 trace-minerals, Aquamin can be used in foods, drinks and dietary supplements where it is proven to deliver clear bone and digestive health benefits.
Independent clinical trials published in international peer-reviewed journals have supported our groundbreaking research in the marine mineral nutrition sector. And, extensive food application trials with a global customer base have given us the know-how to provide food technologists and formulation experts with a natural and organic plant source with maximum functionality. What's more, our application research is constantly ongoing to determine Aquamin's full potential.
We employ 27 people and have manufacturing facilities in three locations. Our international network of exclusive agents and distribution partners serve the needs of local markets, ensuring the Aquamin message is communicated effectively throughout the world.
