In Ireland, we operate across many of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s business areas – from manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), to Clinical Research, Life Sciences, Analytical Instruments, Specialty Diagnostics and Customer Channels. Cork is our largest site in Ireland, with over 500 colleagues involved in the development and manufacture of API of life-changing and in some cases life-saving medicines. We also have approximately 400 colleagues working in our PPD® Laboratory services facility in Athlone, and others who work remotely or in other onsite locations, including Dublin.
Given the breadth of our operations in Ireland, we have developed strong and enduring relationships with a wide array of customers and partners from hospitals, universities, healthcare companies and life science and research organisations.
